TLC Landscape

TLC Landscape, run by Tom (also called Thomas), works out of Wilmington and takes on hardscape and site work beyond typical lawn care — foundation repair, patios, driveways, and larger stone-and-drainage projects. The clearest account, from a 2021 review, describes a large job that included demolishing an old ramp, stairs and driveway, then installing granite stairs, a paved walkway, a cobblestone driveway with drainage, and fieldstone foundation repair — with Tom designing every element alongside the homeowner. A 2023 review describes a leaking foundation fixed faster and cheaper than competing quotes, and another from the same year credits him with a patio, front walk and driveway extension. Not every account is as smooth. In a 2022 review, a customer said Tom took a scheduling deposit, then went unresponsive for five weeks with no date or contract, and refused to refund the deposit once they cancelled and hired someone else. The written record here is thin — six reviews spanning five years — so it's worth getting a firm start date and a written contract before putting down a deposit.
