The projects homeowners describe here sit at the heavy end of landscaping: granite stairs set into a rebuilt entry, a cobblestone-edged driveway with drainage under it, a concrete ramp and an old back patio demolished and replaced. TLC Landscape works out of 1 Concord St in Wilmington, and in the reviews people write, the owner — Tom — is on the job himself. The fullest account comes from a 2021 review of a large job: demolition of a concrete ramp, stairs and driveway, then granite steps, a paved walkway, a cobblestone-edged driveway with a drainage system, fieldstone foundation repair, stepping stones, a regraded and replaced front lawn, and a pea stone path. That homeowner said Thomas worked with them to design every element. Two 2023 reviews run in the same key but shorter — a patio, front walk and small driveway extension in one; a leaking foundation repaired fast in the other, at a price the customer said beat every other bid they collected. The written history is thin, though. Six reviews across two sources between 2021 and 2026 sit behind a 4.3-star Google average built on 16 ratings, and it is not all good. A 2022 customer described paying a scheduling deposit and then waiting five weeks with no reply, no start date and no contract; when they cancelled and went elsewhere, they said the deposit was not returned. That is the thing to pin down before any money changes hands — a written contract, a firm date, and what happens to the deposit if the job doesn't. The one review from the last six months, posted in February 2026, is a one-star that says nothing about the work at all: a complaint about a truck speeding in Georgetown. For hardscape — steps, walkways, driveway edging, drainage, regrading — this is the shop those reviews describe, run by someone customers keep naming personally. Settle the schedule and deposit terms in writing first.
Stop speeding in Georgetown!
I hired Tom to fix my foundation that had been leaking lately. Not only was it done in a spectacular time frame, but the work was on another level! After seeing the work done on this, my wife and I plan on hiring him to do more jobs. We had a few companies come price the job, and Tom was BY FAR the best price and did more than the others wanted for the price they quoted. I can’t wait to work with him again. If you need work done, I highly recommend him. Thanks again Tom!
Great company, hard working guy.
Tom is a pro!! Did an amazing patio and front walk for us as well as a small driveway extension. Would recommend him to all my friends and family.
Very poor communication. Takes your “scheduling deposit” and then never responds to any messages for 5 weeks. Never gives a date. Never sends a contract. When I tell him I’m going to use somebody else he decides to finally answer saying he’ll be there this week. I cancel my job with him and he refused to refund my deposit. Beware of this company
