TruePoint Electric, working out of Marshfield, has built one of the deeper records in the area: 117 reviews across five platforms since 2022, and a Massachusetts electrician license (No. 23352) that's verified active with the state. The name that comes up in nearly every review is Chris, usually alongside a partner named Aden or Aiden. Google shows 4.9 stars from 129 ratings and Angi shows 4.4 from 7. The specifics are steady rather than generic: EV charger installs -- more than one customer mentions a Tesla wall charger or a garage EV hookup, including one quote that came in more than 25% below a competing bid -- full-house surge protection paired with damaged-outlet replacement, and recessed-lighting jobs where reviewers specifically call out clean cuts and no mess left behind. Repeat customers show up often, with one writing they'd used the company for three separate projects and would keep coming back. When a large tree knocked out a customer's power supply, Chris was reportedly on scene within the hour of the call. Three reviews in the record complain about price or conduct rather than the work itself. One reviewer called the company 'scammers,' describing a $2,000 job with no inspection permit pulled and trash left on the property, and said calls afterward went unanswered. A second reviewer was charged $650 to diagnose a single-room power issue and swap a dimmer switch, calling it overpriced for the work done. A third reported a technician arriving 50 minutes late and being charged $328 for roughly half an hour of work. None of these match the tone of the dozens of other reviews, but they're specific enough to be worth asking about directly -- particularly locking in a firm price before work starts. For panel work, EV chargers, and same-day electrical emergencies, this is a company with a long, mostly consistent paper trail and a verified license behind it. Given the handful of pricing complaints, get the quote in writing before the truck rolls.
“True Point Electrical Chris Pembr9ke 617-272-0943”
TruePoint consistently delivers high quality, fairly priced electrical work. We have now used them for three projects and will continue to do so in the future.
Great experience! Came out for a thermostat and lights not working - we didn’t realize we had a second breaker box, so he flipped the switch and didn’t charge us. Thank you!!
Professional, good prices, and did a great job. A little slow to respond but they always did eventually respond. Would highly recommend!
Really good experience overall and I’d hire them again without hesitation. I reached out on a Saturday, they got back to me quickly, and the work was done by Wednesday. Pricing was fair and there was no pressure to do more than I wanted. The team was professional, personable, and easy to work with. There was a miscommunication where part of a wall was cut without me realizing ahead of time, which led to dust getting into my bedroom. Not ideal, especially since my cat has asthma. That said, they were very apologetic, made sure everything was patched and cleaned up, and checked in to see how she was doing. Stuff happens but they handled it well and that’s what matters to me.
Very knowledgeable and professional person who guided me through exactly what was happening and gained my complete trust.
