Tuff Lawn

Tuff Lawn is a Norwalk, Connecticut lawn care company that says it has been in business 37 years and serves towns from Darien and Greenwich to Westport and Wilton. On Google it holds 4.8 stars from 309 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+. Its 2026 Google customers name the technician who came, among them Marvin, Lesley, Juan, Oskar, Carlos and Rigoberto. An April 2026 customer said Rigoberto took extra time over labeling the sprinkler heads before aerating and seeding. In a May 2023 review, a customer who had their entire lawn reseeded said the crew came back a year later and fixed the bare spots that had not come up. An April 2024 customer said they called after finding three ticks on a dog in their wooded yard and had not had an issue in three seasons since. The company says its DEP-certified technicians deliver tick control applications from spring to fall. In a March 2025 review, a homeowner said a crew arrived without notice and began unloading equipment on the front lawn, and the office said a list from another vendor had been uploaded to its system by mistake. A September 2025 customer gave 3 stars, saying compacted bare spots were not dug up before seeding and the seed was only rotary spread. An October 2024 reviewer called the service expensive and said it seemed to not cover the entire lawn. A May 2023 Angi customer said the vegetation along a gravel driveway was not dying after it was sprayed, and was then told the company can't do that work because the spray could run off into the sewers. An April 2026 reviewer wrote only: "I did not sign up for any service for 2026."
