Valley Concrete & Construction says on its website that it has been in business for 53 years and offers free estimates. In a 2024 recorder.com article, Jacque referred to the business as a concrete production company. A 2024 recorder.com article said a local department housed two vehicles in a bay rented from Valley Concrete & Construction. A 2025 recorder.com article said Northfield EMS had looked set to move to the Valley Concrete & Construction facility in Bernardston, but the company pulled the offer after the town was unable to reach a purchase-and-sale agreement deadline.
