A customer bought a new ceiling fan because the old four-light one had quit; in a July 2019 review, they said the Vallone Electric crew asked which fan they liked better, repaired the old one instead, and saved them over $200. Vallone Electric is a Wallingford electrician whose written reviews on Angi run from 2019 to January 2021. Nick, also called Nicholas, is the name in those accounts, and three reviews say he worked with his son; Michael or Mike is named alongside him in others. A February 2020 reviewer wrote that he had been in business for more than 30 years. The jobs are household lighting and wiring. In February 2020, one customer had seven recessed lights put in a living room and a switch added for the garbage disposal, after a free estimate at the house; another had outdoor lights and a motion detector, dead since they moved in, traced through 1- and 3-way wiring and brought back. That same month, Nick and Mike came out right away for a short in an old home. A July 2020 customer described a phone call in which Nick laid out the work and his rates, a call the day before to confirm, and a final cost that matched the estimate; the flickering lights turned out to need only a new wall socket. In October 2019, a ten-bulb pendant light went into a dining room with textured ceilings, and the customer was shown how to adjust each bulb's height. Timeliness and price come up in specifics: arriving on time, cleaning up, putting things back, and costs described as reasonable or fair in reviews from 2019 and 2020. The business holds an active Connecticut T1 electrical licence, ELC.0195374-T1, under Kenneth J Vallone. HomeAdvisor and Angi each show 5.0 stars from 33 ratings.
Exellent experience
Friendly and efficient. Good communication.
Did a great job..very professional..would highly recommend
If you are looking for a true professional electrician look no further. My experience from the first phone call to the end of the service was great. I needed to have a ceiling fan replaced with a light fixture, also I was having a problem with some lighting flickering on & off. I explained this to Nick Vallone during that first phone call; he advised me of what the work would entail as well as approximating the cost, providing me with what his rates are. We set up the date & time; he called the day prior to confirm the appointment and arrived right on time. Once he arrived, he went right to work along with his assistant. They completed the work promptly & professionally; I was completely satisfied. The fan was replaced & I was glad it was only a wall socket that needed replacing to correct the flickering lights. His estimate on the cost was spot on.
I canâ t say enough good things about Nick and Mike. They came out right away to fix a short I had in my rather OLD home, needless to say not an easy job. They are knowledgeable, honest and charge a reasonable price. I will definitely call them for all of my future electrical needs.
