A recent Google customer said the light post's wall switch had been left on, and turning it off fixed everything. A recent reviewer wrote that they have used Venora for decades, for work from a new outlet to wiring for generators and EV charging. A 2021 customer said they had to call several times before anyone called back, though the electricians who upgraded the service were timely.

Incredibly great company. Venora electric sponsored my kids Cal Ripken league, so when I needed help at my home I called them. They arrived promptly, and did a great job at a great price. I moved to another town, and needed a bunch of electrical work done on my new home. Although it's 45 minutes away, Venora again arrived promptly, did a great job, and charged me less than I expected. I've got a little more to do, and will be calling Venora Electric again to handle the electrical. In a world of no-show, late-show, and suspect billing among contractors, Venora is a refreshing old-school company whom I trust implicitly.
We have used Venora Electric for decades. From smaller projects (like installing a new outlet), to new wiring for generators or EV charging, we are always pleased with their work. Tim Venora is a pleasure to work with and his crews are great. Highly recommend.
Great company to work with. Excellent quality work, reasonable and fair pricing, and wonderful customer service. Tim, the owner is very knowledgeable and ensures the customers needs are met. The in office scheduling is timely and communicates. We were referred by a friend and Venora is definitely a company we will use again. They fixed overhead lighting in laundry room, installed a ring doorbell, and two ring security cameras outside and ran a long run from the laundry room electrical panel in garage to install a 240 volt outlet (procured by Venora) for charging a hybrid vehicle. Great company, highly recommend.
I can't thank Venora electric and Mike enough for coming out to my house on Fri 8/14. We were failed by another electrician who came out and could not ultimately find what was shorting out breaker #8. He had a guess but it failed in 3 days. Mike looked at the big picture - said its almost always something outside the house. After we contemplated the possibilities, he called me and said what is that light post by your driveway? I said we haven't used it in 10 years? Somehow - the wall switch for that was turned on. Turning it off fixed EVERYTHING. Thanks Mike!! You are are a real PRO!!
Thank you Tim V Much appreciated!
