Veterans Junk Removal Squad

Veterans Junk Removal Squad describes itself as a junk removal service owned and operated by a 100% disabled veteran, serving Maine with storage unit cleanouts, foreclosures, construction cleanup, vehicle removal, heavy hauling, furniture, yards and basements. On Google it shows 5 stars from 105 ratings. The jobs run from a single pickup to a whole house. One customer called at noon and had the junk gone by 2:30. A customer who saw Isaac's sign on Plains Rd called about old twin beds, and he was there in an hour. Isaac and his son removed and broke down an old oil tank and furnace in one customer's mother's basement, then cleaned up the space where the new furnace and tank went in. Isaac's team arrived on time to remove a very old and heavy hot tub for another job. One booking was set a week out for 9am; a three-man team arrived at 8:50, cleared the items, asked the customer to check the home and garage for anything missed, and was headed out the driveway within 30 minutes. A customer whose yard needed clearing said they came out the next morning, filled their dumpster trailer to overflowing with everything from a washer down to small items, and dug an old motorcycle out of a bush that had grown around it, all in under 2 hours. A 2025 customer said they quoted and started a basement clean-out the same day, took away an old chest freezer, and swept the basement floor clean in about 3 hours; they dismantled an old shed in the back yard as well. In a 2025 review, a customer said Isaac and his helper removed a very heavy upright piano for a very fair price, even though the job was a little more than expected. A 2025 customer moving their mom into a nursing home said Isaac, the owner, and his son removed everything in 90 minutes, then wiped counters and vacuumed. One recent customer said the minimum pickup charge was higher than expected, though they gathered enough junk to make it worth it.
