Wayne Electric and Alarms pitches its website at security systems, fire alarms, home automation and access control, with a complimentary consultation offered with one of its systems technicians. The company says it has been in business for 6 years. Its Massachusetts electrician license, number 4534-EL-A1, is active on the state registry under Wayne Electric Alarms Inc. On Google the company averages 3.6 stars from 20 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. A recent Google customer called the company professional, hard working and reliable. A 2021 customer who took on the company's monitoring services with the purchase of a commercial property said that when alerts came in naming specific zones, the company did not know where those zones were in the building. That 2021 customer also said technicians were sent out and service fees charged without confirmation beforehand, and that when concerns were raised about communication, they yelled and hung up. The same 2021 customer said they would be working with a different monitoring company going forward.
Professional, Hard Working and reliable
I am still in shock that I am writing this review because I can’t believe how the owner of a company could be so unprofessional. I acquired Wayne’s monitoring services with the purchase of a commercial property and I have experienced nothing but problems with them. They do not know the building of which they have provided services to for years, where when alerts are received specifying zones that are experiencing issues, they do not even know where the zone is within the building. They send out technicians and charge service fees without receiving confirmation beforehand and when they are approached with concerns with regard to their communication they yell and their customers and then hang up repeatedly on them. Their customer service is unacceptable, especially considering they are servicing potentially life saving equipment within a residential commercial building. I will be working with an alternate monitoring company going forward.
