Wild Bill's Handyman Service is a one-man, family-run handyman operation based in Wareham, MA, personally run by its owner, referred to throughout as "Bill," offering yard cleanups, painting, snow plowing, property maintenance and small remodels. The company holds an active, registry-verified Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license (#209781). Google reviews going back to 2023 repeatedly describe Bill and his crew handling a wide range of jobs in one visit — drywall and ceiling repair, painting, storm door and window replacement, gutter cleaning and roof work — with some customers saying they've called him back for job after job. Other reviewers praise fast turnaround on seasonal work: a same-day-to-next-day yard cleanup with flower beds, mulch and power washing, deck-board replacement, and prompt, same-hour snow removal arranged remotely for an out-of-town customer's family. Alongside that praise, several reviewers spanning 2023 and 2025 describe scheduled estimate appointments that were missed entirely, or estimates that never arrived despite repeated follow-up calls. A 2025 reviewer says a gutter-cleaning job left a downspout unfinished and that a subcontracted mason never completed an outdoor fireplace-hearth repair the customer had already paid $900 for. A 2026 review also reported debris falling from an uncovered company trailer on the road, causing a flat tire — a road-safety complaint rather than a workmanship one, but the business's most recent public review. Angi and HomeAdvisor both list the business as new to their platforms with no reviews yet there, and both FAQs state it does not offer emergency services or free estimates — directly at odds with the 24-hour emergency-call claim on its own site, worth confirming directly before booking. For a straightforward yard, painting or small repair job with a licensed, active HIC, Wild Bill's has a track record of getting the work done well once scheduled; anyone with a time-sensitive job should get a firm appointment and estimate commitment in writing given the responsiveness complaints above.
Was driving behind this guy on 25 today as garbage was flying out of his uncovered trailer. I wound up with a flat tire after running over a piece of wood with a nail in it. Thanks jerk!
Bill quoted a fair price to clean my gutters but missed cleaning out one of the downspouts. When he came back he blamed the leaf guards, which he said would not be a problem when he gave the quote. I also hired him to fix my outdoor fireplace hearth, a gift from my late husband. He sent his Mason, nice guy, but the job was not finished. I called for months and Bill said the guy doesn't work for him anymore. I paid $900 and I don't believe it will make it through the winter without cracking. I should have read the reviews.
Good luck getting them to respond to inquiries or give an estimate.
Contacted them for an estimate. They came out and told me I would receive an estimate by 6/9/25. I have followed up 3 times and received no response of any kind
Very good
