Will Mow Lawn

Will Mow Lawn is a small, owner-run landscape maintenance company in Jamaica Plain, started in 2005 when George Kordan began going door-to-door with a used lawnmower. He and his crew now handle lawn mowing, cleanup, mulching and snow removal for homes in Jamaica Plain, Roslindale, Hyde Park and West Roxbury. Several customers describe using the company for a very long time — one rental-property owner says they've maintained the yards for over 15 years, another homeowner for close to 10, another for almost 9 — and describe George as responsive, dependable, and easy to reach directly. Reviewers mention specific extras beyond routine mowing: yellow jacket nest removal, leaf clearing that a customer called quick and thorough, and cleanup and mulching projects. One review is a sharp exception: a November 2024 customer says a crew came for leaf blowing and instead ripped out part of the garden, cut bushes down and removed mulch, calling it a sloppy job. It's the only account like that among many years of steady, positive reviews from repeat customers, but it's worth being specific about what should and shouldn't be touched before a crew starts working. For routine lawn care, cleanup, or snow removal in Jamaica Plain and nearby neighborhoods, Will Mow Lawn is a well-established, dependable choice with many long-term customers — just walk the crew through your garden beds and anything not to touch before the first visit.
