Every branch fell and landed in the same direction in the same pile — that is how a recent Google reviewer described watching Zuhlke Tree Service take trees down, adding that the yard looked beautiful after they left. The company's own site says it has provided arborist services to the greater Bangor region since 2018, and a 2024 Reddit commenter said Zuhlke's is out of Bangor and would likely be willing to travel for a quote. A 2026 customer said they left a message, got a call back within three days, met with the company's arborist two days later, and had three trees removed within three hours, cleanup included. A 2025 customer said a Zuhlke team took down a large 100+ year old tree and cleaned up as they went. A 2025 customer had five trees cut down and a dozen stumps ground, with everything taken away. A 2023 customer said they worked alongside CMP to remove a limb that had taken out power to the home the very next day, taking care not to damage a sentimental railing. A 2023 customer said they were careful with equipment weight so it did not damage the leach field. A recent customer said they showed up when they said they would and did exactly what was needed. An article on mainebiz.biz lists James Zuhlke Jr. of Zuhlke Tree Service LLC under Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
“Zuhlke's is out of Bangor but would most likely be willing to travel for a quote if you give them a call. The owner is great and everyone on the team is super hardworking and just all around good people.”

Just watched them take a tree down at Westgate. Fast and efficient! Impressive!
From my first phone call, right through final clean up, they were amazing. Showed up when they said they would and did exactly what was needed. Very professional and very nice.
Absolutely incredible job! Professional. Clean. Very safety conscious! Yard looked beautiful after they left. Impressed watching them do their job. Every branch fell and landed in the same direction in the same pile. Best tree removal I've watched! Outstanding work!
They came out in the snow and did a fantastic job. Thank you Zuhlke Tree Service! Highly recommended!
Saw them last summer removing trees for a neighbor. Decided I needed some removed and others evaluated. I was prepared to wait weeks or months for the process to be complete. Called and left a message. But I was surprised and pleased that within three days I got a call back and had a meeting scheduled with their arborist two days later. Who provided confirmation that three of my trees should be removed. Had a reasonable estimate that very night. Had the work scheduled for three days later. They arrived and had it all done within three hours, including all cleanup and removal. Very polite, punctual and efficient. A highly professional outfit. Couldn't recommend more highly.
