At showings and open houses, she shared a lot of valuable insights with us, pointing out building materials, current condition, and expected maintenance schedule and approximate costs we could expect over time. She also was super helpful in connecting us with other professionals throughout the process, including a home inspector who did a really thorough job looking at the place we wanted to buy and also spent time to educate us on all aspects of the property. I can't say enough good things about Pearl Emmons. Thanks to her, me and my family achieved our dream of buying a two family home in Somerville that we will live in together. Pearl is very knowledgeable when it comes to the multi-family housing stock in the area and also is very skillful at pointing out the pros and cons of potential houses. She went on walk throughs with to every house we were interested in and she has such a great eye- she pointed out aspects of each house that would require repairs or updates, which we never would have noticed on our own. As an exclusive buyers agent, I knew she always had our best interests in mind, and she gave thoughtful, honest feedback when she felt like there were better options for us, which is easier said than done when you have four adults with sometimes divergent preferences trying to find a house we all liked. When we found out dream two family, I thought we would get outbid because it was also being marketed as two units, but Pearl helped us craft the perfect offer that won over the sellers, and it turned not being a dollar too low or too high, while not compromising our hard rule of not waiving an inspection. She went the extra mile for us and drafted this offer while on a very tight timeframe, whilst travelling. I also must sing the praises of Dave Twombly at 4 Buyers, who graciously went on showings with when Pearl was out of town for a weekend, and actually showed us the house ended up buying. We plan for this house to be our forever home, but if we were buying again we would 100% work with 4 Buyers again. If you want honest, super responsive, skillful, knowledgeable and down to earth folks as your realtors, they're the ones!
