Cabinet doors pulled off and refinished in a shop, then rehung looking new: that is the job customers of A & A Painting and Cabinetry describe most. The company describes itself on its website as based in Westchester, NY, specializing in interior and exterior painting, custom cabinetry and bathroom remodels. A recent customer said the team was punctual and that everything was completed on time. A 2025 customer said Alex and his team refinished almost 40-year-old natural oak kitchen cabinets, with the doors removed and refinished in his shop and all new hardware. A 2024 customer said the cabinet doors were removed to be sprayed in his workshop, and that Alex added a pantry cabinet he made to match the existing cabinets. The work goes beyond paint. A 2024 customer said Alex worked on built-in cabinets in a master closet, mud room and bedroom. A 2024 customer said Alex has worked on their house since 2018, including bathroom and kitchen renovations, a basement renovation, painting jobs and building a deck. A 2024 customer said A and A renovated three bathrooms and a laundry room at their house in Greenwich. A 2024 customer said that when something went wrong, Alex corrected it over a weekend on his own time.

Alex and his crew were outstanding. They were timely, super clean, communicative and collaborative. Would recommend them to anyone!
Alex and his team did a fabulous job refinishing my kitchen cabinets. The cabinets were almost 40 years old and in natural oak. His team refinished the frames in my house, the doors were removed and refinished in his shop. All new hardware. Looks brand new.
Alex and his team are wonderful and we are so fortunate to have found him through great recommendations from our friends. Alex is a true artisan; he is very skilled in his craft. His work is of very high quality and he takes the time to do things right. We have since hired him to work on built-in cabinets in various spaces (master closet, mud room, bedroom), which ranged from entire new builds to retrofitting cabinets into existing ones. We have been very happy with his work every time and will continue to call on him for future projects.
