A&W General Contractor LLC

An April 2023 Google review from Warren, CT lists what A&W General Contractor had done over two years on a 4,000 sq ft home: full interior painting, every bathroom renovated, kitchen cabinet painting and backsplash, hardwood, three stone walls, a front walkway and entry steps, illuminated driveway pillars and porch railings. The Danbury, Connecticut company, which says it was founded in 2020, holds 5 stars from 27 ratings on Google and 4.7 from 38 on Thumbtack. Wesley and his team are the people customers name. Decks come up too: a deck restained in July 2025, a deck replaced with railings and a new staircase in July 2023, and a small covered deck overlooking Lake Candlewood in 2022. In a June 2025 Thumbtack review, Wesley handled a massive basement water remediation and helped the customer through the insurance process. A February 2025 customer's basement flooded four days before a housewarming party, and the team fixed it. In an April 2023 review, Wesley turned an ugly fireplace into a functioning accent, and the customer said he is honest when a job is better suited for someone else. A November 2024 customer had kitchen cabinets painted and the dust cleaned up. In a July 2021 Thumbtack review, a customer said the job took slightly longer than planned but that Wesley did a quality check and fixed a few things without being asked. Its Connecticut HIC licence, HIC.0658909, is active on the state registry. BBB grades it A+.
