ABC Rubbish

In a February 2026 Google review, a customer renting a dumpster from ABC Rubbish wrote that service had declined over the previous six months: the dumpster was constantly overflowing, calls for emptying went unanswered, and up to 30 bags sat outside it by the end of a month. A January 2026 reviewer wrote that no one had emptied their dumpster in months while the charges continued, and that voicemails to the office went unreturned. ABC Rubbish is based in Norway, Maine. Its website says it has been in business 58 years and lists a service area across the Oxford Hills, including Bethel, Bridgton, Naples, Casco and Harrison. In a July 2024 review, a customer wrote that they had used ABC Rubbish for weekly home pickup for over 20 years and that it had never missed a Friday pickup. A May 2025 reviewer cleared out 20 years of collected belongings using two 6-yard dumpsters, and wrote that the advice on the phone was good, the driver arrived as promised and the pricing was reasonable. In May 2024 a reviewer wrote that anyone with an issue should talk with Julie, calling her professional, pleasant and helpful. In a January 2025 review, a customer wrote that a dumpster ordered a few weeks earlier never came and calls went unreturned. A May 2024 reviewer who asked about a dumpster rental wrote that the woman they spoke with was rude, said it would be three weeks before she could drop one off, and said they don't do one-time pickups. In a March 2023 review, a customer of more than 25 years wrote that for two months the guy had taken only half of their dumpster each time, at $95. A February 2022 reviewer wrote that a friend who used ABC for a single pickup had been billed three times. On Google, ABC Rubbish holds 2.9 stars from 23 ratings.
