Asked for a masonry proposal in a 2023 review, Brenden Mahoney told the customer, "I don't want to talk myself out of work but I think it would be better if you re-graded the driveway instead." In a 2022 review, a customer who expected to need drain work wrote that Brendan came out to give a quote and very thoroughly helped them understand the issue. Able Landscapers works out of Pepperell and lists Pepperell, Groton, Dunstable, Tyngsboro, Westford, Littleton and Ayer as the towns it serves. A 2025 review describes replacing an old wooden deck with a new paver patio, stone wall with granite cap, and cobblestone apron and walkway, with Brenden and Alex making suggestions the customer was able to implement. A 2024 reviewer had a walkway redone in two days. A 2022 review covering two walkways and a patio names a foreman, Alex, who addresses any concerns or questions. In May 2026 a customer wrote that they installed a paver walkway and handled spring cleanup, mulch and lawn maintenance. A 2021 customer had been using Brendan for fall and spring cleanups and some landscape work for 10+ years. A 2025 review of a front-yard rehab — ripping out existing shrubbery, replacing beds around the front of the house, clearing brush and vines around the tree line, and installing a wildflower area in the lawn — is rated two stars; that reviewer wrote they did a nice job with the clearing. Its Better Business Bureau page is an A+. Paver walkways, patios and cobblestone work run through these jobs alongside the cleanups and mulch; before booking a bed-and-planting rehab, ask about the 2025 job a customer rated two stars.
They did a great job installing a paver walkway, and with spring cleanup, applying mulch, and lawn maintenance.
We have used Able Landscapers for years, and they are wonderful to work with. From the business side of things to the people doing the work on our property, everyone is pleasant, professional, and does a great job. The owner Brendan is honest and takes pride in his work. I can’t recommend them enough!
We’ve been using Able for two years now, and they consistently keep our two‑acre property looking its best through every season. Every member of the team is a pleasure to work with, from the owner and office staff, to the crews who care for our home. Most recently, Able installed a stunning patio and walkway in our backyard, and the craftsmanship is top‑quality as always. Highly recommend Able for all of their services!
We hired Able Landscaping to rehab the front yard landscaping. Rip out existing shrubbery and replace beds around the front of the house. As well as clear away brush and vines around the tree line and install a wildflower area in the lawn. They did a nice job with the clearing but when it came to putting it back together not so great. Rocks from the old garden bed were scattered all over the lawn, pieces of the old weed blocker left behind in the new bed, a number of broken sprinkler heads and walkway stones. For seeding the wildflowers, the instructions were not read, and it was triple density seeded (paid $1000 dollars for someone to walk around spreading seed and they didn't read the directions!). Given the cost of the quote, I had assumed some things were a given in the job but turns out you really need to be exact to micromanage the expectation on the job.
Able Landscapers did a great job with my spring clean up, edging and mulching the garden beds at my home. I would recommend them to anyone needing some sprucing up and clean up for spring. Thanks for the great work!
