I?ve known the Ackerman family for the vast majority of my life, so I had zero hesitation hiring them for the major exterior renovation of my house. I knew they were experienced, and I?ve always known them to be perfectionists and all-around solid people. Even knowing all of that, I couldn?t believe how blown away I still was by the finished product. We absolutely love our house and couldn?t be happier with the work they?ve done. Ackerman Exteriors replaced the 45-year-old wood siding on a custom rural house, built in 1980, with vinyl siding. Included in the job were some window and door replacements, gutter installs, and other improvements to the house to address issues I had made note of over a decade of ownership. The guys did great work. The house is immeasurably better in every way, and the updates proved their worth this winter. During the lead-up and during the work, they listened to concerns and ideas, and made actionable proposals in response. After the project was finished, they followed up to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. There were schedule slippages and material delivery delays, which is all par for the course, especially in 2025. They were communicative about the delays, and able to reorder the work accordingly. It was a big project and they handled it well. I would give Ackerman Exteriors my highest recommendation.
Ackerman Exteriors did a great job fixing my siding that was in rough shape. They're very organized and neat, and the communication was clear. The only problem we ran into was a delay from the siding supplier, which set us back a few days. I highly recommend them.
