AF Macisaac Contracting Inc

AF Macisaac Contracting Inc is a remodeling contractor at 14 Ridge Rd in Milton, MA, hired for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and whole-home renovations. BuildZoom's permit-history profile for the company shows 166 permits on file, ten of them in the past three years, and every one of them in Milton — the work runs to bathroom gut-and-rehab jobs, kitchen and master-suite renovations, replacement windows and siding, a three-season porch, a deck rebuild and a new single-family home. BuildZoom also lists a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration (#143149) as active and verified as of July 2026. The written customer history is small and dated, but consistent. In a December 2017 review, a homeowner said they got several quotes, found the company in the middle on price and considered it well worth it, adding that he was on the job or reachable at all times and meticulous about every detail. In a September 2016 review, a homeowner who had a major kitchen renovation done called the contractor and the quality of the work great, and noted the crew cleaned up every day and walled the kitchen off from the rest of the house to keep the dust down. Worth knowing before you book: BuildZoom shows a 5-out-of-5 rating from four reviews, but the four review blocks come from only two distinct customers — the 2016 kitchen review is published three times under slightly different wording and dates — so the headline rests on two accounts, and no individual star ratings are shown on any of them. Both of those accounts are now eight to ten years old, so ask for recent references and to see a job comparable to yours. The five services on the BuildZoom page are the site's generic menu rather than the company's own description, and the licence detail there was not checked against the state registry. The permit trail points to a Milton-focused remodeler that has been steadily pulling bathroom, kitchen, window and siding permits in town for years. If you are in or near Milton and planning a bathroom, kitchen or exterior renovation, they are worth a call — confirm the HIC registration directly with the state, ask for references from the last year or two, and get the daily-cleanup and dust-containment habits the 2016 reviewer praised written into the scope.
