Five Google reviews, five stars apiece, and the same name in two of them: Seth, who turns up with a crew and takes on the yard nobody has touched in a while. Affinity Landscape Solutions works out of West Brookfield, and what customers describe is the overgrown-and-neglected end of the trade. In a June 2025 review, a homeowner wrote that the crew cut back overgrown bushes across the entire yard — "It's like a whole new yard!" Another that same month said the yard "was a mess," that the team worked four hours and stayed polite throughout, and that it looked "fabulous" when they left. Mowing and mulching turn up too, in reviews from April and August 2025, the mulching customer calling them "very easy to work with." One of those 2025 reviewers wrote that the company is veteran-owned and "takes care of the veterans" — that is a customer's account of who runs the business, not something confirmed against any registry. A LinkedIn profile separately lists a sales associate with the company in North Brookfield since September 2024. The honest limit is how little there is to go on. The whole written history is those five reviews, all posted on Google between April and August 2025, and nothing in them is negative. That is a promising start rather than a track record, and a handful of short, uniformly glowing comments on one platform cannot carry the same weight as a deep, cross-checked history. Massachusetts exempts landscaping-only contractors from home improvement contractor registration, so there is no state license to look up here either. A reasonable call for seasonal cleanup, mowing and mulching around the Brookfields, particularly if a neglected yard is the problem. Ask for a couple of recent local references and a written price before the crew rolls, and confirm insurance the way you would with any small outfit whose record is still short.
