Five large pieces of furniture had to go before a house closing the next day. In an October 2026 Google review, the customer wrote that they called Kenny around 11:00 AM, he was there by 4:30 with his son Tyler, and everything was removed by 5:00. Affordable Junk Removal, which its site says is based in West Haven, Connecticut and handles residential and commercial junk removal, clean outs and hauling, holds 5 stars from 137 Google ratings. The site also offers free estimates. Price comes up in the jobs customers describe. A July 2026 reviewer paid $450 and wrote that Kenny took what was in the pictures and a lot more. An October 2026 customer wrote that, after quotes from several other companies, Kenny's price was "almost too good to believe," and that they took a bit more stuff than planned without changing the quote. In May 2026, a customer who had bought a house "as is" described a crawlspace full of broken window frames, old fencing, tires and rusted paint cans; the customer had expected to pay at least $1000, the guaranteed price came in way under, and Kenny and Tyler cleared it in about 90 minutes. In an April 2026 review, a customer wrote that the company removed at least 40 yards plus worth of trash, furniture, mattresses and electronics and left the premises clean. A November 2025 reviewer said Kenny's team finished clearing furniture from the reviewer's mother's house over 3-4 days, taking care with sentimental items. The one complaint, from January 2026, is about the 24-hour service the customer said the company advertises: a call at 11:53 PM got a text asking why they were calling at midnight, and the customer called the response unprofessional.
