On its Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles the company says it serves the Seacoast and surrounding areas of New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts, and HomeAdvisor shows 4.6 stars from 19 ratings. A 2025 customer said Daren gave a lighting design consultation and executed the plan quickly for a very fair price. A 2020 customer said Darren took on multiple issues in a house built in the 1890s, possibly original wiring, and that the house was safer afterward. A 2021 customer said Darren was the first to call, was on time, finished the job and explained the issue. A 2021 customer hired Aiello to connect a pool's electrical, put outlets in the basement and connect a portable generator transfer switch. That 2021 customer said Doug Fales of Aiello Electric collected the remainder of the bill, never returned to finish the basement and transfer switch, and then said the $7700 covered only the pool connection; two other electricians told that customer the bill was triple what it should have been. A 2020 customer said Darren did good work but did not provide a requested itemized estimate until the work was done, overcharged, and threatened to disable his work unless they agreed to the additional money.
Daren was able to do a thorough consultation and provided me with a number of new ideas for how to design the lighting in my home. He not only advised me on the best practices and most effective layout but also executed the plan quickly and for a very fair price. Id work with Daren again.
Darren is a highly experienced professional electrician who communicates very well. He did an electric generator installation for us along with a replacement of a defective GFI outlet. The generator install was handled in a knowledgable, efficient manner. Darren explained how he would approach the project, obtained all necessary additional parts for the interface with our electrical panel, installed everything in a neat manner then stayed with us to do a dry run with the new electric generator. He also tagged the circuits we wanted to be able to use, evaluated our generatorâ s power supply, and gave us written instructions to post by the electric panel. Before he left, he made sure we understood how to safely use the new generator and provided us with numerous helpful suggestions. Would give Darren Aiello six stars if we could!
Darren is very professional, knowledgeable and overall, great to work with.
