Doors are what people keep calling Anthony Fiore for: thirteen of AJF Construction's thirty-three reviews describe door work. In a September 2020 review, a customer's door had never closed or sealed properly in twenty years, and Tony took the time to hang it right. A September 2022 reviewer had a dozen interior doors ordered, painted to specification and installed solo over about a day and a half, with several frames fixed along the way.
Fiore has run the Dunstable business since 2000, and the BBB lists it as a sole proprietorship with one employee — which matches what customers describe: the owner on site, doing the work himself.
The newest account, from June 2026, is a new exterior front door for a homeowner who called themselves a complete novice and said Anthony walked them through exactly what needed to happen. A December 2025 interior door project came in ahead of schedule, with the work area cleaned up.
The other steady line of work is rot. Seven reviewers describe trim, fascia, siding or beam repair. A November 2025 review came from a customer of eight years — siding replaced, eaves repaired, most recently rotted windows. A June 2024 customer had fascia boards replaced after they rotted, with Anthony examining the roof's design before proposing a solution. In a 2018 review, water was leaking into a wall from faulty flashing; Tony found the problem, fixed the leak and repaired the damaged wall inside.
He also takes the jobs other people pass on. A November 2020 reviewer said Tony was the only contractor to follow through on replacing their exterior doors, showing up the next day to assess. An August 2023 homeowner said few contractors wanted to tackle their flooring project. And a December 2025 Angi reviewer had an electrically heated walkway put in from driveway to house — the old brick, which he had laid himself, lifted, the electrical grid and wiring installed, the brick relaid better than his own original.
The work runs wider than doors and trim. The BBB profile lists remodeling, basement finishing, garages, decks, countertops, cabinets and gutter repair; an October 2020 customer had kitchen countertops replaced along with a subway-tile backsplash, and BuildZoom publishes a 2020 Westford permit for two replacement windows and a first-floor bathroom remodel at a $17,000 valuation. On credentials, the Angi and HomeAdvisor pages list manufacturer installer certifications — Therma-Tru for doors, Andersen and Harvey for windows — and the company's own text there says it is family owned and operated with the licenses, registrations and insurances to cover home repairs, remodels and builds.
For a door replacement, rotted trim, or the repair nobody else will schedule, Fiore is a direct call, and customers have gone back to him for years — one across eight. Ask about his timeline before you commit, and for anything past a repair, ask to see the registration and insurance the company cites.
