A recent customer who had just moved to the area said Always There Heating was recommended by many people, and described the business as a husband-and-wife ex-military team that is on time and answers questions. Its website lists annual tune-ups, emergency heating service, HVAC and heat pump installation and repair, and boiler and furnace installation and repair, and names a service area that includes Augusta, Belgrade, Gardiner, Hallowell, Manchester and Readfield. A recent customer whose usual furnace technician had retired said other companies would not work on that brand, and Always There Heating moved the cleaning up after calling back to say they were in the area that day. A recent customer with a natural gas boiler said propane and heating oil companies would not touch it, and that after Always There worked on it the boiler is trouble free. In 2024, a customer said an on-demand electric water heater in a newly bought house was not working, and the company came out first thing Monday morning and got the hot water running again. A 2024 customer described a new heat pump system installed in their transformed two-room schoolhouse. In 2022, a customer said the company installed a propane furnace, then installed heat pumps, and handled the Efficiency Maine rebate process. In 2024, a customer said their heat pump was less than a year old and the company would not come service it before the warranty was up. In 2025, a customer said they were never shown what was wrong and then got an email saying the company would not give an estimate. In 2025, a customer wrote that after six appointments, the problem was "FIXED" in quotation marks.
We just moved to the area . One of the downfalls of moving is having to find a doctor, dentist mechanic, plumber, electrician and a heating company. Always There Heating was given to me by so many people in the area for a heating ccompany. I have to say everyone was right. Their work is fantastic and very reasonably priced compared to others. They are a husband wife ex- military team . They are on time, preform flawlessly and able to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone for your heating and cooling needs.
Colby and Madison were fantastic! Super reasonable with their pricing and mindful of things that matter to people, do friendly and kind. If you’re looking local and want to support the small, good guys, give em a shout!
My furnace was due for its yearly Cleaning before winter so I called the guy I usually use Mr Mike and he has now retired (good for him😎)but I still needed my furnace cleaned called a few places they didn’t work on that particular brand so I was getting kind of discouraged and then I called Always There Heating and they did work on this Brand had me scheduled but for a couple wks out but called back an said They were in the area that day and would like to know if I would like to have them come out and I said YES PLEASE and oh my God thank you they came in clutch. !!!!!!!! Thank you again , see you next cleaning !!! Great service and fast !!
My state of the art boiler/ hot water heater was installed two years ago The installer does not do annual service, only new installations. And since I use natural gas the propane and heating oil companies won't touch my boiler . Plus the people my installer recommended for maintenance ghosted me. What to do? I called Always There. They did a great job. They answered all of my questions. And my boiler is trouble free.
Not the first time they've been out and won't be the last. Always There is aptly named; professional, reliable, excellent value and trustworthy. When they say they will be there, they ARE. Always clean, area completely cleaned up and boiler in awesome shape. Another company stated "I have plenty other business you can go elsewhere." I did and Always There Heating is worth every consideration and has my vote for the best in CLASS.
