Paver patios, walkways and retaining walls feature in American Landscape’s customer accounts, alongside a serious complaint about failed pavers and unanswered repair requests. The written reviews run from 2022 through 2025. Houzz describes American Landscape Inc. as a landscape design and construction company at Sharon View Nursery in Sharon, Massachusetts, with landscaping, hardscaping and masonry services. In a July 2024 review, a customer said Leo and his crew offered options within their budget and vision, began work the day after their conversation and completed a patio and walkway within three days. A May 2023 reviewer described two paver walkways, a replacement retaining wall, a backyard patio and a pool deck, saying the work finished on schedule at a price they considered reasonable. That customer named Leandro and his crew. Other dated jobs show the range of work. In September 2022, a customer described a new paver walkway, replacement of a rotting retaining wall with a stone wall, and lawn grading with new topsoil and hydroseeding. Another September 2022 reviewer said driveway pavers were installed in one day, including cutting and removing the asphalt. In May 2023, a customer praised completed chimney repointing, prompt responses and a reasonable price; they also said further stone-patio repairs were planned. The most recent written complaints are from February 2025. Two reviewers, each referring to a spouse, described roughly $20,000 of work and pavers separating and sinking. One said the sinking caused flooding and alleged that Leo did not respond to requests under a claimed seven-year warranty; the other said repairs would require hiring someone else. Both described unanswered messages or a call being ended. These accounts concern what appears to be the same household’s project. A separate November 2022 prospective customer said the company sent someone to estimate a project, then failed to respond despite repeated emails and calls. Google lists a 4.1-star average from 13 ratings.
I am never one to go out of my way to bash a company, but my husband and I hired American Landscaping and Construction Corp who is owned by a guy named Leo to redo our walk ways and backyard patio. He did not do the job correctly resulting in the pavers starting to fall and separate (because no border lock was used) as well as the pavers are starting to sink causing flooding. My husband reached out multiple times to ask Leo to come look and see if there is anything he can do since he has a warranty of 7 years guaranteed but no response. I called yesterday and once i said my name he hung up and now refuses to answer. Anyone looking for paver company this upcoming spring please save yourself the time and money and do not use this company. We paid 20k for a horrible job and for a owner to give the worst customer service possible.
DO NOT USE. Leo did our walkways at our house and they are already ruined, separating because he never used the border lock to keep the pavers together. They are also settling and sinking because the base was not done right. My wife tried calling him to explain what's going on he answered and hung up on her. I also messaged him multiple times and he reads them and doesn't answer. This owner and company do not stand by their work. After spending about 20k with him I now have to hire someone else to repair all his work.
Leo and his crew from American Landscape were incredible to work with! We saw a post his company made on our Weymouth Community Page on Facebook and decided to reach out as we have been thinking about getting a patio for a while now. From the start Leo was so informative and gave great suggestions. He showed pictures of his work and found options that worked within our budget and vision. The day after talking to Leo, he and his crew were already at the house getting to work. Within three days they completed a beautiful patio and walkway project that we couldn’t be happier with. Not only were these men respectful and timely, but they were incredibly hardworking staying extra hours to get the job done for us to enjoy. We already look forward to working with Leo again in the future on other landscaping projects we have in mind!
I would highly recommend American Landscape and Construction. Excellent workmanship. We had two walkways installed with beautiful pavers and boarders. We had a retaining wall done to replace a failing timber wall. We also had a backyard patio and pool deck done with pavers. Everything was done on schedule and came out just as we hoped. Working with Leandro and his crew was a breeze and the pricing is more than reasonable!
I had an excellent experience with American Landscape and will absolutely be using them again!! (In fact, project #2 with them is already in the works!) We recently had our chimney repointed and could not be happier with the result. I had gotten their number as a recommendation from a family friend and American was very quick to respond to my initial call, soon after came to my house for an estimate, and was super responsive as I figured out the best timing for my schedule. The team was extremely pleasant to work with, completed everything in a timely manner, and for a very reasonable price. We're so pleased with the outcome that we asked them to come back to help with some repairs of our stone patio, which will be done within the next few weeks.
