Anderson Electrical Contractors is a Walpole electrician company. Its Massachusetts electrician license is active and verified against the state registry, held under PJ Carter, and a separate company-level electrical business license is independently confirmed active as well. Customer reviews are thin — just two on Google, three years apart. The stronger one, from 2023, comes from a Walpole Chamber of Commerce partner who called the crew responsive and said they treat the town's property like their own while hanging the municipal banners on Walpole's poles. PJ Carter has also turned up behind local community giving, including a 2025 donation to a Patriots-tickets raffle benefiting a regional safety coalition. A more recent review, from late 2025, points the other way: a customer described poor communication and little interest in setting up an appointment. A federal OSHA record, undated, adds a specific safety concern — a crew working from a man-basket near crane rigging without hard hats, cited as a struck-by hazard with no stated resolution. BuildZoom shows a steady stream of permitted work (68 jobs, a score in the 88th percentile of Massachusetts contractors) but lists the company's address in North Attleboro rather than Walpole — worth confirming which is current. The BBB has them at 57 years in business with an A+ grade, though they aren't BBB-accredited. Anyone calling is worth asking directly about the OSHA citation and pinning down scheduling expectations up front, given the mixed signal on responsiveness.
“Thanks to a generous donation from PJ Carter of Anderson Electrical Contractors Inc, we're excited to share this opportunity with you!”
“Employees were exposed to struck by hazards from crane rigging while working from a man-basket while not wearing hard hats.”
Poor communication and less interest to setup an appointment
The team at Anderson Electrical has been a partner of the Walpole Chamber of Commerce for many years. They do a yeoman's job for us hanging our banners on the municipal poles in town. The guys are great. Super responsive. I cannot say enough about them. They take care of all of our materials as if it were their own. The electricians care about the work they do. Great outfit.
