Animal Control Pros

A recent Thumbtack customer said Animal Control Pros took care of a groundhog issue in one visit. The company describes itself on its website as a nuisance wildlife control and pest animal removal business that covers Scarborough, Maine, south to all of York County in Southern Maine. A 2025 customer said they called Andrew at about 10 pm about a bat in the house, after reaching out to three other companies, and that Andrew came right out, located the bat and released it at a very low price. A 2024 customer wrote that Andrew found where squirrels were getting in on a steep edge of the roof, installed a one way trap, and sealed up the hole once he determined no more were in the walls. A 2023 customer said Dennis came to assess the situation in less than a day, set up a one way door at the hole where squirrels were getting into the walls and ceilings, then removed it and sealed the hole. A 2021 customer said Dennis called less than 5 minutes after a quote request through HomeAdvisor, was at the house within a couple hours, and caught a raccoon in the attic in under 10 minutes. A 2020 customer described Dennis identifying where bats were getting into the attic, installing a device to let them out and not back in, and patching the areas on a second visit. A 2022 Google customer who found a dead bat in a washing machine said Dennis spent one hour setting 2 traps on the roof, came back 2 weeks later to collect them, and wanted another 1000 on top of the 1000 already paid. That 2022 customer also wrote that another bat turned up in the basement and that Dennis tried to sue them for the 1000.
