Nine hires on Thumbtack, sixteen reviews, and every one of them written in 2026 — Atos Development is a young Westford outfit that has come out of the gate quickly. Rafael Oliveira runs it; Thumbtack lists a completed background check in his name and two employees. The company says it works residential and commercial properties across Massachusetts, with landscaping and irrigation up front and flooring, remodeling, handyman, plumbing and electrical work behind that. What customers actually write about is the yard. The fullest accounts are the whole-property jobs. One homeowner in June listed the scope: a new irrigation system, the property hydro-seeded, planting beds cleaned out, new shrubs and flowers in the ground. Another described a city backyard going from a barren, muddy space to somewhere they and their dog could use. A third, in March, had Rafael send back an edited photo of the yard matching what they had described, re-edit it after his own suggestions, then arrive on the day with the agreed materials and walk the site before starting. The shorter notes rhyme with the long ones: on time, tidy, finished. One customer wrote in March that he worked in the rain until the job was done; another in April credited a fast response and careful work clearing winter debris. Google carries a flat 5.0 across 14 ratings. Thumbtack sits at 4.8 across 22 — 95% at five stars, and one at a single star. Two things worth raising before you book. The service list is much wider than the work people describe: the company's own site advertises plumbing and electrical alongside the landscaping, and Angi lists it under wood, commercial and laminate flooring. If you are calling about anything other than the yard, ask what a two-person crew has actually done in that trade and to see the licence for it. Second, the Angi profile is odd — it sits at the right Westford address, but its About-us paragraph is written about RAFAEL CONSTRUCTION INC rather than Atos Development, which is worth a question about which entity signs the contract. For seasonal yard work, an irrigation install, or a front-to-back landscape redo, the reviews are recent, consistent and specific enough to justify a call. Just keep the timeline in mind: the entire written history is a few months long, so there is no multi-season record yet showing how the plantings held up or how the company handles a job that goes sideways.
