Fence replacement is the job people most often describe hiring Axel Landscaping of Lynn for, and the older accounts are about speed. In a 2023 review, a homeowner said Axel came out the day after the request to quote removing and replacing a 30-year-old wood fence a little over 100 feet long; they showed up the next week as promised and the job was done in 3 days, with some sections customized. Another 2023 customer reached out on a Sunday, had a visit and a quote by Monday noon, and had the fence replacement completed by Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. In a 2024 review, a customer who hired Axel for a replacement fence also had his team install a stone walkway, and called the workmanship superior to anything they had seen. A separate 2024 review says they installed two fences and did work on a patio, with "always a fast response." In a 2022 review, a customer described a small backyard fenced in along with a bit of landscaping before summer. The complaints are specific. In May 2026, a customer who hired them to replace a fence post and two panels wrote that the agreement called for pressure-treated wood, that Axel confirmed the material on site, and that the panels turned out to be untreated pine; he acknowledged the discrepancy but refused to fix it, the customer said. A 2021 review described a chain-link fence installed uneven, with no bottom rail and a zip-tied top rail, after they arrived 3 hours late with no phone call. In a 2022 review, a customer wrote that giant chunks of cement broke off the ground a day later and that no one showed up when they were supposed to come back on April 8. Another 2022 review said that after a firm price, "they requested more money," and a 2021 customer said they never came back for a big branch left on the front lawn despite 2 weeks of texting. I hired Axel Landscaping Company to replace a fence post and two panels. Per our agreement, all materials were to be pressure-treated wood. When the installer, Axel, arrived, I asked him several times to verify the material, and he repeatedly confirmed the material was pressure-treated while on-site. The following day, a neighbor who is a contractor informed me that the panels installed are actually untreated pine. That has also been confirmed by Home Depot employee. I contacted Axel to request that he fulfill the original contract by installing the correct pressure-treated panels. While he acknowledged the discrepancy, he refused to rectify the situation. I will never hire Axel company again. The fence post is covered with a lot of mildew. Axel has used the cheapest materials. Axel has admitted installing junk materials.

My wife and I researched a number of quality fence installers when we first started our search. After meeting Axel we were convinced that his team was not only the right team to install our replacement fence but we also elected for his team to also install our stone walkway that we have been wanting to do for years. Let me say as clear as I can THE QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP PREFORMED BY AXEL AND HIS ENTIRE TEAM WAS SIMPLY SUPERIOR TO ANYTHING WE HAD SEEN! The overall value for what we paid and what we received far out paced our initial expectations. I am going to recommend Axel Landscaping and Fence to everyone I come in connect with. If we need any work done to our yard I will only contact Axel going forward. My wife and I sat in our backyard today and it felt like an oases of piece, tranquility and wonderful privacy. My wife and I can't say enough on how satisfied we are with the professionalism and overall quality of each of the gentleman that worked to make our yard a showcase for others to envy. Thank you Axel we so very much appreciate the work you and your team provided to enhance the value of our home! Sorry for the lengthy review but I just wanted others to know the value of your work!!!
