BD Construction poured a 16x24 parking pad for my wife's wheelchair van in August. I waited to post until I had my deck and platform completed to see/show how well it turned out. Slope and elevation needed to be tight in order to line up with the cabins slab and the new deck & connecting platform I had yet to build. Just completed that end of September. We decided on a specific pitch for drainage that wouldn't cause problems with the platform to connect the slab to the deck but still have adequate drainage away from the cabin. They laser sighted the forms and poured, even with the encroaching cabin and bunkhouse, were able to get the surface right. It drains very well, no pooling. And everything lines up great! Practically no lip where the slab meets the platform. We'll have virtually one continuous level surface from van to cabin, which was the goal and they nailed it. They also did a lot of grading to move water away from the cabin and with gravel and 12 yds of stone for erosion control. So easy to get in and out now. Thanks so much.
