Baldi Tree

Baldi Tree is a family-owned tree care company serving Plymouth County, Massachusetts, offering tree removal, pruning, stump removal, lot clearing, chipping, and seasoned cord wood, with crane-assisted removal for large or tightly sited trees. In a 2025 review, a large pine tree fell across a customer's driveway during a windstorm just as they needed to leave with groceries in the car — the owner, who happened to be in the neighborhood, responded immediately. Ricardo leads crews that show up again and again across the review history for fast, communicative, careful work around structures and utility lines. Crane-assisted removals get singled out repeatedly for tight-access jobs — trees lifted around live electric wires and cut up in the street, or equipment threaded through fencing without taking any of it down, according to one Reddit mention. In a 2024 review, a customer who had used two other Plymouth tree companies before called Baldi the best of the three, describing roughly 40 trees removed by crane in under four hours with a spotless yard afterward. The volume backs up the reputation: 230 reviews from 2021 to 2026 across two platforms, a 4.9-star average from 244 Google ratings, and 4.9 stars from both Angi and HomeAdvisor. In the last six months, 9 reviews came in with none negative. Two more substantive complaints do surface from late 2025: a Google review from November 2025 describes a tree dropped on a septic cover during a 7-tree removal, along with damage to oak trees, a firepit, and a garden, and a Reddit post from December 2025 describes a broken window and what the poster felt was a dismissive response from the owner about it. Between the crane work on difficult, tightly sited trees, a returning client base numbering in the dozens of trees over several years, and an owner who shows up personally when something goes wrong, the record points to a capable, established tree service with a couple of documented rough incidents worth knowing about.
