Barratt Enterprises LLC takes down trees in Enfield — in one 2023 customer's account, six trees, some leaning toward the house and two over power lines. Its BBB profile describes an Enfield outdoor-services contractor working in landscaping and land management, and the company says it has been in business 8 years. A recent customer said Jake removed 4 stumps and one double stump that another company had left as a mess, and started the work on a Sunday morning. That customer said Jake came back about a year later for a full day's work filling in large portions of the front yard that had sunk, then hydroseeded over everything he did. A 2025 review written for the reviewer's mother said she hired Jake and the crew to remove two very large trees of 85 feet or more, and that all remnants of the trees were removed. A 2025 customer said they had trees removed and the stumps ground up. A 2023 customer said the company cleared trees, branches and brush along the entire length of their quarter-mile driveway. The work is not only trees. A 2024 customer said Barratt Enterprises put in a new lawn and made sure they were pleased with the work before leaving. A 2024 customer said the company handled tree removals, stump grinding and topsoil placement, and that Jake followed up to make sure they were happy. A 2022 customer who wanted a number of stumps ground said they texted at 2:05pm on a Sunday and by 3:45 a worker was at their house getting information. That 2022 customer said a CBYD order was put in to make sure no utilities were hot, and that on the day all of the stumps were ground down, with the chips piled in one area for each stump.
Not you average company. Jake will go out of his way to make sure you're completely satisfied with the job. He made a few suggestions and started his work on a Sunday morning to make my future job easier and faster. Jake is responsive, respectful of your property, very fair and willing to do what it takes to make his customers happy. He made a suggestion that saved me a lot of time and then made it happen. He also removed 4 stumps and one double stump that was a mess from another company not doing the job right. And no one wants to work on another mess. But he did. and all at a very fair price. I can't thank him enough. About a year later in September of 26 I had Jake back for a full days work to fill in several large portions of my front yard that had actually sunken the ground over years. He then hydroseeded over everything he did and the work exceeded our expectations. The grass is now filling in very well. He later asked if he could come by and take pictures. No one does that unless they take pride in their work. Its hard to find now a days.
Jake and his team did a Great job!! We had trees removed and the stumps ground up. Jake and his team were quick and very professional. They left the area spotless and very well landscaped!!!! I Highly Recommend Jake Barratt Enterprises for any tree service. Very Professional!!
Jake and his team are great! Amazing service, very knowledgeable, genuine and truly cares about his clients. He has cut everyone in my families trees including my own and helped me build my dream backyard!

I asked Jake to cut down a bunch of massive pine trees and a couple of birch trees and from start to finish Jake and his crew did fenamonal job not only cutting down the trees but cleaning up the yard and getting rid of logs and the debris. Again an excellent job. Thank you Jake!!!!
