A 2024 customer wrote: "It's actually S&H Plumbing and Heating now." In that 2024 review the basement was flooding; the customer said the receptionist answered on the first ring and set up an emergency visit, the guys showed up within an hour, and they worked all day to fix the issue and suck out all the water. A 2025 customer, writing of "Now S & H Plumbing and Heating," said it came out quickly for a flooded basement, was up front about the pricing and fixed the issue quickly. A 2026 customer said they had called Cody and his team many times over the past few years, that they had come for more than one plumbing emergency, and that someone was always at the home shortly after the call. A 2024 customer said the company sent someone right over for an old, leaking electric hot water heater in a second-floor condo with white carpets, offered to swap it out that day, and praised the work of the two technicians. A 2022 customer said Barry worked on the problem with a frozen old pipe 52 ft away from the house. A 2024 customer gave 2 stars over billing: they said they got a late notice for a bill paid two weeks after the work, and a second bill of 160.00 for the men to blow out the sink aerators in 5-6 minutes, after which they still had no water pressure. Barry Crowell's Maine plumber license, number MS2256, is expired on the state registry.
When plumbing emergencies happen it can be stressful, but having called Cody and his team many times over the past few years, I can honestly say I dont panic near as much anymore. I know that when I call, Cody or someone just as qualified will be at my home assessing the situation as soon as possible (and its always shortly after Ive called) to give me calm and clear information on how they will proceed. They have come to my rescue for more than one plumbing emergency!!! Highly recommend their services and appreciate the consistency!!!
Now S & H Plumbing and Heating came out quickly for our flooded basement. They were extremely reasonably priced and Cody did an amazing job. Was up front about the pricing and fixed our issue quickly. Was also very clear on the plan and will definitely be going through them again for any needs later.
Our electric hot water heater was getting old and starting to leak. The company sent someone right over for what I thought would be just an estimate. We were very happy when they said that they could swap it out that day. We live in a second floor condo with white carpets making it a more difficult job. I can't say enough about the professionalism and outstanding work their two technicians did for us. We will definitely recommend them to anyone needing Plumbing and Heating service.
These people need someone to run their office who knows what they are doing. I just recieved a late notice for a bill that I paid two weeks after the work was done. The second bill is for the men to come in walk up my stairs blow out my sink aerators and walk back down the stairs to tell me I was all set. I still have no water pressure and the bill was 160.00 for 5-6 minutes of work.
It's actually S&H Plumbing and Heating now. Our basement was flooding. The receptionist answered on the 1st ring. Had us set up for an emergency visit. The guys showed up within an hour. They worked tirelessly all day to fix our issue and suck out all the water. The best part was it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Highly recommend.
