Batchelder Painting Company

Batchelder Painting Company works out of Carlisle, doing interior and exterior painting plus power washing, and says on its site it has been at it since 1977 — pushing 50 years in the same corner of Middlesex County. It lists Bedford, Concord, Belmont, Acton, Winchester, Westford, Billerica, Arlington and Lexington alongside Carlisle as towns it covers. The one review on the books is a strong one: in a 2023 BuildZoom review, a customer who had the company paint their home's exterior and interior called the result "perfection" and said the crew did a beautiful job. Google and BuildZoom both show a single 5-star rating, consistent with that account — there isn't yet a broader public track record to weigh it against. Worth knowing before calling: the company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#189768) shows as expired in the state licensing registry. BuildZoom separately lists an unverified Construction Supervisor license (#CS-022606) as inactive. For a straightforward interior or exterior repaint or a power-washing job in the towns it covers, the one account on file is positive — but confirm current licensing and insurance directly before booking, since the registration on record has lapsed.
