Six rooms, three with cathedral ceilings, plus hallways, stairwells, a bathroom and a finished basement — Ed estimated two weeks working alone, and in a February 2018 review the homeowner wrote, "It took exactly that!" Beau's Professional Painters is a Wrentham interior and exterior painting business; its HomeAdvisor profile says Ed is the sole owner, has 40 years of experience, and charges no travel fee. Its written reviews run from 2012 to 2021, and Ed is the name in them. In a May 2019 review, a customer noted the price included the paint, with two coats on the walls and one on the trim. An August 2019 couple in Newburyport said Ed's quote was competitive, his guidance sealed the deal, and the ceilings, walls and trim were done in the time he estimated. In June 2018, a living-room job meant stripping decades-old grasscloth, spackling the cracks underneath and painting ceiling, walls and woodwork, with the area cleaned each day. A July 2020 review describes a 100-plus-year-old colonial in three base colors and two more, hand-sanded with some carpentry first, finished in about two weeks. Three reviews from 2019 and 2020 mention Ed working with his son. In January 2019, a couple on a tight schedule said Ed finished early but they could tell in a couple of places he had moved fast; he handled all their touch-up requests. A 2012 Angi customer had a harder time: the painter ran out of a gallon of dark cranberry paint on a small dining room, said he could not come back the same day, and quoted another $50 to return and finish.
