A dresser that came in a big box, carried up the stairs and assembled in around 45 minutes: that is one recent customer's account of hiring Ben Fixes Stuff LLC. On the company's website, Ben Lilyestrom says he lives in Lee, NH, and describes himself as a former police officer and mechanic turned podcast production pro and "the guy everyone calls when stuff breaks." One customer hired Ben for a handful of small projects around the house: some small tile work, patched holes in walls and a power-washed deck. That customer said he was on time, worked quickly and cleanly, and explained everything in plain terms. The dresser customer called Ben a handyman and said that, once the job was done, he was already asking what else he could help with. A customer with a long list of things said it went great. One customer called Ben tidy and respectful of home spaces, and said he answers any questions you have. On Google, Ben Fixes Stuff holds 5 stars from 4 ratings.

I am so grateful to Ben! He made our overwhelming house projects disappear. Working with Ben is easy, fast, and so pleasant. He brings professionalism and heart into all that he does. He is beyond tidy, respectful of home spaces, and answers any questions you have.
Ben is fantastic. Full range of things that he can and do super well. We had a long list of things and it went great. Call Ben for sure !!
I cannot recommend Ben highly enough, and I mean that with my whole heart. Ben is a handyman unicorn. It is so rare to find someone you can trust implicitly, both in their skill and in who they are as a person. In this industry you either get someone great at the job but hard to communicate with, or someone warm and easy but not that skilled. Ben is genuinely the whole package. He assembled a dresser that came in a big box, got it up the stairs, and had it done in around 45 minutes. That would have taken me hours on my own. The moment he finished, he was already asking what else he could help with and thinking proactively about home maintenance in ways I hadn’t even considered. That kind of initiative is exactly what you want when letting someone into your home. I had been carrying the weight of this project for a while, and working with Ben completely lifted that. He made it effortless, and it felt so good to finally check that box. I already have a list of at least 10 other projects I want him to do! If you need a handyman who is highly skilled AND genuinely great with people and communication, someone you can actually trust in your home, Ben is absolutely your guy.
I hired Ben to fix a handful of different small projects around my house and I couldn’t be happier with the results! He did some small tile work, patched holes in walls, power washed my deck and so much more. He was on time, worked quickly and cleanly and explained everything to me in a way that didn’t make me feel stupid. 😁 I highly recommend hiring Ben Fixes Stuff! I’m already working on a to do list for a second visit.
