We recently had our downstairs and kitchen done by Bencar. We had discussed doing this with a few other companies and came to The conclusion that Bencar was the company to go with. This decision was one of the best we have ever made. I have heard so many stories from friends about projects going wrong and running weeks and months behind. We started with a plan that basically was keeping the same kitchen footprint. After discussing with Daryl from Bender and Cody we decided to open up the whole area. This involved taking out multiple walls and having new support beams installed. Cody and Lisa came up with a timeline and once the project started it stayed on time to the day. It certainly was interesting living thru this whole process that took 10 weeks, Now everyday when we walk into our house we look in amazement at how well it turned out. Evan was the lead on our project and we are very grateful for the expertise and professionalism he and all the crew gave us. If you live in the Wallingford area they are without a doubt in my mind the only choice to make,

We recently had an addition built onto our home by Bencar, and we couldn't be more pleased with the entire process. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Lisa and Nancy were wonderful to work with- always friendly, organized, and quick to respond. Cody was readily available whenever we had a question, and kept everything on track. Throughout the project we had the pleasure of working with Greg, Jerry, Evan, Rocco, Greg, and Nick. Each one was hardworking, courteous, and professional. They showed great attention to detail. Every employee and subcontractor showed up when they said they would, and any changes to the scope of work were put in writing and approved by us first. We are thrilled with our new family room- it is exactly what we hoped for. The quality of the work and the professionalism of the entire team truly set Bencar apart.

We recently completed a kitchen - first floor remodel with Bencar Building Systems and we couldn't be happier with the results. The entire process from start to finish exceeded our expectations. From our initial consultation with Mark, Nancy and Cody to the planning and design with Daryl and Dani at Benders to the actual remodel phase was seamless. Each member of the Bencar team are true professionals. Evan and Rocco were assigned to our project with help from Craig and Nick. Evan and Craig's finish work was flawless. No stone was left unturned. Lisa was also pleasure to deal with. She responded to all of our questions and handled all of our change orders without hesitation. We will be sure to call Bencar Building Systems for our next project.

Finally, we have a beautiful new kitchen! (Also, hallway bathroom, new wood floors, and bye bye popcorn ceilings.) We were happy with the foreman, Nick's, professionalism. He handled all aspects of the job well: construction, communication, and finishing details. All other members of the crew and office team also have our respect and appreciation for a job well done!
