Bigwave Heat Pump is an HVAC business. Its NH HVAC licence, held by Bigwave Heat Pump, LLC, is expired on the state registry. In a 2024 review, a customer with two zoned central AC systems coupled with forced air propane furnaces said Dave replaced the central AC condensers and coils with high efficiency heat pumps and kept the propane furnaces as backup for bitterly cold weather, for significantly less money than multiple Mini-Splits. That 2024 customer said he also installed new smart thermostats and new control wiring and configured the systems to use the "dual fuel" backup. In another 2024 review, a customer said Dave checked the spot, gave advice on the best option and finished the job in a day. In a 2023 review, a customer who got 4 different bids for mini splits said they chose Dave at Bigwave, and that when a warranty issue came up, Dave came, took a look and worked to fix the issue. A separate 2023 customer said Dave drew up a plan for installation of 6 mini split heads and 2 compressors and listened to their concerns about compressor location and air flow. Another 2023 customer said Dave looked for the most cost-effective way to get their heater running as efficiently as possible.

Dave was amazing he came out checked the spot gave me great advice on what would be the best option for us and he finished the job in a day. He explained everything I needed to know! I would recommend him to anyone looking for HVAC work.
Very nice, and more importantly, super skilled HVAC guy! On time, every time. Cleaned up after himself and even changed out of his boots every time he came back in the house. Excellent value. No nickel and diming. Ours was a very complicated installation. We had two zone, separate systems (one for each floor); central AC units coupled with forced air propane furnaces. So expensive to keep the house even halfway comfortable in the winter - we were using between 250-300 gallons of propane a month. We considered leaving the systems in place and having a bunch of Mini-Splits installed. However, Dave was able to replace the central AC condensers and coils with high efficiency heat pumps and KEEP the propane furnaces as only backup when the outside temperature is bitterly cold - for significantly less money than the multiple Mini-Splits AND we were able to take advantage of the available tax credits. He installed new smart thermostats, new control wiring, and configured the systems to use the "dual fuel" backup. Now we're toasty warm and able to use our solar generated electricity instead of expensive propane. Dave's a genius!
Dave was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about how to solve our problem. He looked for the most cost-effective way to get our heater running as efficiently as possible. I plan to continue to use his services for future repairs or service.
I shopped around and got 4 different bids for the mini splits, I chose Dave at Bigwave. I made the correct decision. Dave is knowledgable, conscientious and did the job right. I have had my 2 mini splits for 3 years now Dave always gets back to me if I have any questions. I had a warranty issue earlier this year Dave came took a look and worked with the manu to fix the issue. If you want value, with good workmanship and great support pick Bigwave as your provider.
