Black Diamond Tree Service describes itself on its website as a family-owned, TCIA accredited tree care company serving home and property owners in Southern Vermont. A 2025 customer said the company took a job in Wilmington: Denise visited onsite for the estimate, and Bill and his team came for the removal and cleaned up so there was barely a wood chip in the yard. A 2023 customer said the company removed several trees close to the house, trimmed others near the power line and removed all the debris. In a 2023 review, a customer said owners Denise and Bill walked the property with them before Jason, Aaron and Zach did the work. A 2022 customer said a team of three arrived at 8 AM to take down a tree that towered over the home and deck, on a slope that customer called tricky, and trucked the whole tree off the property. A 2022 customer said about 30 trees were removed and the yard was clean and neat afterward. A 2024 customer thanked Denise for getting them a date before the freeze and said Jason and Aaron even helped put the beam up for their garage. A 2022 customer said the price seemed high on paper but was more than fair for the amount of work, and that they were on time every day and carried on during a downpour. In a 2024 r/vermont thread, a commenter suggested checking with Black Diamond.
“Black Diamond Tree Service is close by. Maybe check with them?”
Excellent work, professional and courteous crew, great communication on scheduling. Worked with me to schedule around conflicting construction project I needed to juggle, reasonably priced. Highly recommend them.
Contracted with Black Diamond for a job in Wilmington. They provided valuable expertise on trees that presented risk in addition to a few I wanted removed. Denise visited onsite for estimate and was detailed in her proposal and responsiveness. Bill and his team came onsite for the removal and were diligent, communicative and thorough. Even cleaning up so there was barely a wood chip in the yard. Price was on target for the job performed and scope of work. Very satisfied with work and highly recommend.
Black Diamond Tree Service was great. Denise was communicating and great through the whole process explaining everything. Bill and his team went above and beyond every step of the way. Thank you for a great service and wonderful experience Looking forward to using this service when I need it again in the future
They are busy because they are awesome! Great experience from start to finish. Denise came out and did a walk around the property and addressed my concerns and wishes. She was a pleasure to work with and super knowledgeable. Aaron and Jason came out a couple of weeks later and did an amazing job! Top-notch service from the get-go from these 2 gentlemen! Efficient, pleasant, engaging, and thorough. They were a referral to us from one of our neighbors, and 100% we would use Black Diamond again when needed! Great people, solid reputation, and fair prices.
Thank you Denise, Jason and Aaron for getting the job done! Denise is a great communicator, helping us get slotted in for a date/time before the freeze comes in VT. Thank you for all the planning/co-ordination and detailed assessment for the limbs/ branches we needed cutting. Jason and Aaron did a fantastic job, were incredibly pleasant and even helped us put the beam up for our garage. Thank you!
