Eighty-six Google ratings averaging 4.8, sixteen of them posted in the last six months and none of those negative — Blanco Electric is one of the busiest, best-reviewed electrical outfits in the Springfield area, and its Massachusetts electrical licence is registry-verified active under the company's own name. The work reviewers describe is bread-and-butter residential electrical done at pace: 200-amp service upgrades, panel replacements, light fixtures and ceiling fans, EV charging points, attic fans, and troubleshooting. A February 2025 reviewer said the crew arrived early, walked them through the whole process and deliberately minimised the power-off window while a new panel went in, leaving the site cleaner than they found it. An October 2025 homeowner had modern light fixtures and an electric car plug installed. One reviewer's February 2025 update described a whole new control panel, a bathroom heat strip, and Blanco working alongside an HVAC crew to power up a mini-split system and water heater. Two things come up again and again. The first is speed — a May 2026 reviewer said they were the first to respond to a set of enquiries and finished quickly; several agents and landlords call them their go-to across multiple properties. The second is the office: Liz and Amy are named by name for scheduling, communication and billing, and an October 2024 reviewer in the middle of a delayed kitchen renovation credited them with pivoting at short notice. Reviewers also mention Fernando turning up himself to check the job is right, and name the field crews — Abi, Matt, Julian, Dylan, Donald. The complaints are few but worth knowing. In June 2025 a one-star reviewer wrote simply "Did nothing and charged $125." An April 2026 four-star review said things "started off a bit rocky with the initial evaluation and quote process" before being resolved, with everything after that going smoothly. And a July 2025 reviewer, otherwise very happy, noted the lead electrician was friendly while his helper was not, and suggested the trucks carry their own broom and dustpan rather than borrowing the homeowner's. A solid call for panel and service upgrades, EV charger installs and fixture work around Springfield and western Massachusetts, and a good bet if you need someone quickly. Ask for the diagnostic or trip charge in writing before booking a call-out, and confirm the quote in writing after the site visit.
