Blue Bones Masonry is a Lynn masonry and general-contracting outfit that homeowners call for concrete step and patio work — the kind of job where water damage or a cracking walkway needs someone who can rebuild it right. Every review on file, five in total from Angi and HomeAdvisor covering 2024 and 2025, gives them five stars, and the specifics repeat: a Somerville back patio rebuilt alongside several carpentry tasks, and separately, eroding concrete front steps and a rotted wooden threshold restored after water had been seeping in and pulling apart the granite slabs underneath. Reviewers describe a crew that shows up on time, communicates clearly, and cleans up after itself. There isn't much yet to flag beyond the basics — with only a handful of reviews on record, it's worth getting a written estimate and timeline before work starts, as with any smaller outfit still building its track record. For a set of masonry steps, a patio, or a walkway that needs real repair rather than a patch, the reviews so far point to a crew that finishes the job and keeps the site clean while doing it.
Blue Bone Construction redid our back patio and several other carpentry tasks in Somerville. Pablo (project lead) was easy to with with, had good ideas, and always brought me questions when there was uncertainty out something new. He and the crew showed up on time and worked hard to get the job done quickly. Yakelin, the office manager, was also easy to with with on billing etc. I'm satisfied with how the project came out and would hire them again.
Right from the start, I couldn't have asked for better. They were easy to communicate with, showed up when they said they would, and completed the work quickly and beautifully. Our front steps look amazing. Although I only used L. P. Bones for stone/concrete work, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them for additional work when needed. I highly recommend!
From the moment I submitted the request through Angi to the end of the project, this company was responsive and transparent throughout the entire journey. The concrete holding our front steps together was eroding, which caused water to seep in and create pockets under the granite slabs. The steps were literally coming apart. Additionally, our front wooden threshold leading into the home was rotting. Blue Bones Construction did a beautiful job restoring the steps and replacing the rotted threshold. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves, and the work was high quality. I would definitely recommend this company.
Great communication, excellent work. Right price
Extremely well! Blue Bones is very thorough, timely in their execution of the project, very clean, and well-priced. Will hire them again! Highly recommend!
