An April 2026 Google reviewer called Bostic's Painting & Restoration about ceilings stained by an ice dam, window frames that needed repainting and some bathroom ceiling mold. Chris Bostic supplied an estimate with a detailed scope of work, and Roger, who did the painting, handled the scraping and sanding the old house needed. The customer kept adding to the job — wallpaper removal, a hallway, 6-panel doors painted to match the new window frames, custom radiator covers Chris arranged, and a pressure-wash of the house, patios and stone walkways to remove moss. The Lincoln, RI company describes itself on Angi and HomeAdvisor as having 20 years experience, and lists interior and exterior painting, power washing and drywall repair. It holds 5★ from 46 ratings on Google and 5.0 from 2 ratings on Angi and HomeAdvisor. Its Rhode Island home improvement contractor registration, GC-45714, is active. Another April 2026 Google customer who called about painting ended up hiring the team to power wash too. In an April 2025 review, a returning customer said Chris had just finished the entire second floor after doing the first floor the year before, and that their old woodwork looks great. The Angi reviews date from 2021.
The team were amazing. They came in to do a consultation for a job for me. I liked them so much. I ended up hiring them to power wash. In addition to the painting. I’d originally called about communication was great job was done efficiently and the quality is really great.
Our problem started with an ice dam that had stained and damaged some ceilings. We also had several window frames that needed repainting and a bathroom that had some ceiling mold. After some research of reviews, I picked Bostic Painters. On inspection Chris Bostic recommended a plan and supplied an estimate with a scope of work outlining in detail what he would do. Roger, who did the painting, was meticulous in his work and did a beautiful job. It is an old house and required much scraping and sanding to prepare for painting both ceilings and window frames. Roger was very thorough. I was so pleased with the work that I asked Chris to add the removal of wallpaper and to paint a hallway; and then to add painting several 6-panel doors to match the new window frame color. Chris does a lot more than just painting. I mentioned that I had some exposed radiators that needed some covers. Chris arranged to have some custom covers made that look great. I then added an exterior pressure-wash of our house, patios, and stone walkways to remove accumulated moss. Chris made sure that everything was done perfectly before finishing. I will call him again for anything I need and would recommend him to anyone else.
Absolutely professional and impeccable workmanship. Highly recommended!
