JD Paine

JD Paine describes itself on its website as a design-build firm specializing in residential home renovations and additions, with Jonathan leading a team of tradesmen and design professionals. A 2014 customer said Jonathan helped with a bathroom remodel, worked to get a tenant-vandalized bathroom and apartment back in shape at an affordable price, and did the work within the quoted time frame. A 2014 customer wrote "I love my bathroom!" and said they were happy with how it came out. In a 2018 Houzz review, a customer described hiring Jon for a list of deferred maintenance items before selling their home: a masonry wall, pointing exterior bricks, refinishing a large deck, rebuilding the front steps and painting the entire interior. That 2018 customer said Jon hired and oversaw many sub-contractors and executed some of the work himself. A 2018 customer said Jonathan and his crew had the interior of their house painted, about 2,800 square feet, and that all tools and supplies were put away at the end of each workday. A 2015 customer said he "put cover up shoes when he came in" and would clean up every night. A 2025 customer said they had an air vent done, a simple job, and was not happy with the service. Its BBB grade is A+.
