Boylan Brothers Inc

Boylan Brothers Inc describes itself as a family-owned landscaping and construction company serving Dover, Sherborn and Medfield, with seasonal cleanups, lawn care, planting and pruning plus hardscaping such as masonry, patios, stone walls and new lawn installation. It holds 4.8 stars from 8 Google ratings, 4.9 from 15 on HomeAdvisor and 4.8 from 11 on Angi. A recent Google customer said Dan recommended a mix of tree and shrubs for a problematic garden bed on the side of their house, his crew planted them and installed a drip hose, and when the hose had an issue shortly after installation, Dan was quick to respond and fix the problem. A recent customer who reached out to Dan after moving to Dover said they received a quick response. A 2024 Angi customer with a large horse farm said the company had handled landscaping, plowing, spring and fall cleanup and roadway regrading after the winter for 3 years. A 2024 Google customer said the company took care of their property year round with weekly mowing in the warm months, leaf removal in the fall and snow removal in the winter, and that Boylan had put in a back patio with a custom grill area for them a few years before. That 2024 customer called the prices honest and fair. A 2022 Google customer described spring cleanup, lawn maintenance and a refresh of their gravel terrace and paths, and said Dan, one of the owners, gave practical advice rather than trying to sell them a huge redo project. A 2019 HomeAdvisor customer said the company gave them a price within 48 hours during fall cleanup season and showed up to do the work within a week. A 2018 Angi customer said they came within a day, in a pre-arranged time window, and were careful as they moved out a non-working refrigerator. A 2018 Angi reviewer advised asking for a written estimate rather than a verbal one, because the verbal quote had some caveats.
