Brant Guthenberg's permit history reads like a roofer-and-deck-builder's calendar. Nineteen permits are on file from his Webster base: a $38,510 job in Roxbury in 2023 stripping a roof and replacing it, a $25,000 rebuild of a four-story deck on a Fitchburg multifamily in 2019, roofing in Attleboro and Auburn, a window-and-door replacement in Attleboro in 2022, and a run of decks and porches around Auburn and Holden. Note the dates. Only one of those nineteen projects falls in the last three years, so nearly everything documented here is work from 2019 to 2022. His Massachusetts construction supervisor licence, CS-089597, is listed as active, and BuildZoom says it checked that in July 2026. The same page also carries three inactive licence records, one of them an earlier entry under that same construction supervisor number that it describes as having been cancelled at some point. Nobody has written a review of him on BuildZoom, so there is no customer account of how any of these jobs went. For a straightforward roof or a deck rebuild, the permit trail shows this is work he has done repeatedly and pulled permits for. Before hiring, ask what he has been building lately, get references from the last year or two rather than 2020, and check licence CS-089597 yourself with the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety.
