Brothers & Brushes Painting holds 5 stars from 116 Google ratings. A recent customer had the exterior of a 3-story barn painted and saw the new color scheme before any paint went on: the detailed estimate came with software that slides the current color over to the new one. A recent customer whose back porch deck was in bad shape said that once the work was done, it helped sell the home, and buyers remarked on the deck. One recent customer said they power washed, sanded and painted the back side of a barn, and that Tommy waited for final approval before getting paid. A recent customer who had a living room, entryway and kitchen painted called the pricing fair. A recent customer whose house had been painted by a different company, which started cracking and peeling very shortly after, said this team took the time to do the job right. A 2024 customer said Tommy and Steve did a deck re-stain, after a fast reply from Shawn to the estimate request. A 2025 customer who wanted 35-year-old plastic shutters changed from white to black said the company removed them three days later. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0672016, as active, held by BROTHERS & BRUSHES PAINTING LLC.
I had previously had my house painted by a different company that started cracking and peeling very shortly after the work was done. This team took the time to do the job right and communicated well with any questions or additional decisions that needed to be made. Super professional
From start to finish the owners as well as their staff were very professional and detail-oriented. We had the exterior of our 3-story barn painted and it came out better than we expected! We actually saw the new color scheme BEFORE they painted. When they provide the detailed work estimate they also provide software to allow you to see the current color and by sliding a bar you see it change to the new colors. We highly recommend the Brothers!
Great communication, punctual, if not early, and diligent. Give them a try.
Great service and excellent painting skills. Our large back porch/deck was in bad shape but when they were done, it looked fantastic! It helped sell our home. Buyers remarked on how great the deck looked. Now we’re in a condo that definitely needs professional painting, so we’ll be calling them again soon! Highly recommend!
Shawn and Tommy were both such a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. Their communication was great and we were very satisfied with the result of the deck painting. I would highly recommend Brothers & Brushes and I will certainly be a repeat customer when the time comes.
