Brothers Building Company recently completed the construction of our Vermont vacation home. We are extremely pleased with the final product and with the process. Having previously gone through several construction projects with other builders, we entered this one aware of the complexities of construction, especially when the project was taking place several thousand miles from our home in Austin. Ron Graves of Brothers Building guided this project with the confidence and flexibility that only comes with decades of experience. He was available and engaged in every stage, from siting the home, to helping with decisions that impact cost, to meticulously over-seeing the completion of the home and attending to the exceptionally short punch list at the end. Ron is a true professional - he worked very well with our architect and listened carefully to any concerns that we voiced. He has an extraordinarily skilled and reliable crew of builders and expert craftspeople. Every interaction with his crew was clear and satisfying. His office manager, Eliza, was amazing. She managed many details, was extremely prompt in her responses, and provided an unusually high level of support throughout the process. We could not be more satisfied with this company or with our new home. As the project comes to a close, we have felt some sadness about not working with Ron and his team; but we look forward to future projects with them!

I am an architect living in the Boston area, coming to Vermont part time. We chose Brothers Building for our own project in Warren, Vermont and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Over the last 15 years, they have built three phases of our house, including an addition and maple sugar making building. They have awesome carpenters working for them and are very can do about pulling together a complex project. In our case, we wanted an super energy efficient house, with solar panels and up to date mechanical system. We worked with them to use milled wood from our own wood lot, post and beam structure, and many other personal details. I have worked with many residential contractors over the years and consider them the best ever.

For over ten years I have enjoyed working with Brothers Building Company on several projects, both new construction, and renovation. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail are of the highest quality. They are thorough and diligent in their cost estimates, construction schedules and communication. Above all, I appreciate their wiliness to collaborate. I look forward to working with Brothers Building on many more projects and I recommend them without reservation.

We built a house with Brothers Building and then worked with them again on an addition a couple of years later. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them! We loved the whole building process....which was only possible because of their incredible work and professionism. Ron and Derrick are a pleasure to work with and take great pride in their work.
