Buyers Brokers Only will not take a listing. The Haverhill firm represents home buyers and only home buyers — never sellers — and that is the whole premise, which is why a February 2025 client wrote that they had gone looking specifically for an exclusive buyer agent and got exactly that. The company says it was founded in 2005 by two attorneys, Rich Rosa and Dave Kres, and that it later expanded into southern New Hampshire and added Rhode Island in 2019. Its BBB profile lists the same two owners, a start date of August 2005 and an A+ grade, and notes the firm is not BBB accredited. The service area it publishes is wide: eight Massachusetts counties, four in New Hampshire, and all of Rhode Island. Nearly every review comes from a first-time buyer, and they describe the same thing — patience with the third version of the same question. A July 2026 client wrote that repeat questions were always happily answered and that expectations were set clearly up front. A May 2026 buyer credited Rosa's network of loan officers, lawyers and inspectors with holding the moving parts together. The detail that sticks comes from a June 2025 review of co-owner David Kres: during showings he would crawl into crawl spaces, climb into attics, and go over the mechanicals himself. A February 2025 client said Rosa flagged risks on a condo they would not have spotted. That is what a buyer's agent is for, and it is what clients here keep writing about. The numbers: 98 Google ratings averaging a straight five stars, with ten written reviews on file spanning 2024 to 2026. One of those ten is from the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce rather than a client. A strong picture, then, but a fairly small written record sitting behind a large rating count — worth knowing when you weigh it. If you are buying in eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire or Rhode Island and want an agent with no listing side to protect, this is that model, run by the same two owners for twenty years by the company's own account. Ask which of them you would actually be working with, and how the buyer-representation agreement is written in your deal.

We had a great experience with Rich Rosa when purchasing our first home. Rich was patient with our many questions and gave a lot of great insight while touring homes. Rich was a great agent as he helped us buy our first house! He helped us navigate the process from start to finish. He was very thorough when looking at houses with us and pointed out things to look out for that we would have otherwise missed. He worked diligently on our behalf from the time we hired him as our agent through closing. In that time we saw quite a few houses and made several offers, but not once did we ever feel pressured by Rich - he very much works for his clients and is not at all pushy, which we sincerely appreciated! I would recommend Rich to anyone looking to buy a home in Greater Boston!

We worked with David Kres at Buyers Brokers Only. He is the co-owner along with Richard Rosa. I cannot recommend David highly enough. David is incredibly knowledgeable about homes. During our showings David would crawl into crawl spaces, climb into attics and inspect the mechanical systems of the house. As an exclusive buyers agent David's loyalty was to us, his clients. He never tried to sell us on a house, in fact he would point out the negative factors about each house. David was incredibly patient with us traveling to showings throughout the greater Boston area with us for several months while we searched for our house. When it came to making an offer he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best chance at having our offer accepted. At one point he did a comparative market analysis at a rest stop on the highway to ensure we could meet the sometimes ridiculous deadlines of sellers. If you are looking for an agent to help you buy a house, use David Kres and Buyer's Brokers Only, you won't be disappointed.
