He still owes me a $7,849 judgement plus interest for non-payment of rent and damages. Vermont Superior Court Docket No. S1058-12CnC. I would not trust Chad Rollins again. Chad, if you'd like this to turn into a positive review, please make good on your debt. 5-13-23 update: Chad, in response to your post here a couple days ago, this may not be the foreum to flush out this discussion, but there has not been any attempt on your part to satisfy this court judgement and no payments against your debt have ever been received by any person. Perhaps the Mr. Klein you mention was a collector for another debt predating this judgment. I can send you a copy of the judgement order if that helps communication and move things in the right direction.
I have lots of works done by C. Rollins Handyman. Everytime it is 100% satisfaction. I would definitely recommend him for any home improvement job, inside or outside the house.
I hired Chad in March to build the stairs pictured on his website. The posts and railings are no longer stable. The materials are poor quality. Chad told me the project would take 3 days.The project started on Monday and was still not completed on Friday evening. He also billed me above the agreed estimate. I will need to hire someone to make the stairs safe and complete the project.
Chad built a railing around a small landing to my front door. 6 months later it's rickety and unsafe. He finally answered my texts and said he would show up next week to correct it. I'll update this review then. UPDATE: Fix was not cosmetically great (added clear construction glue/silicon that is obvious and just looks wrong.). This fellow takes on work that's above his experience level and charges skilled carpenter rates.
