Calcia Tree Service describes itself on its website as a family owned and run tree business based in Princeton, Massachusetts, with over 30 years in operation, and says owner John Calcia is on-site on every job alongside his son Nick. One customer who has hired John and his son Nick three times said they took down two trees, including a particularly tricky removal near the road and power lines, cleaned up several canopy trees, and later came back to grind the stump. That customer said they also brought in two yards of material to help repair lawn damage from the equipment. Nick came to one customer's house and helped cut down a tree the customer was afraid would fall on the house; that customer said he showed up quickly and was reasonably priced. A customer said the quote came promptly, the work started the next day, and the area was kept neat and tidy. One customer noted a couple of extra large branches that were not in John's estimate; he said sure, cleaned up even more, and would not take extra payment. A customer who had a tree removal and trim done said Calcia was knowledgeable in evaluating the trees' trunk and surface, and reasonable with its rates.
