Gagnon Tree Service describes its work on its own website as tree care and removal, "from safely taking them down to grinding their stumps up," and says it has been in business 14 years. A recent customer had 23 trees removed after collecting more than five estimates, and wrote that Josh beat everyone's price by a large margin. On another recent job, ten good-sized trees, some dead, came out of a very tight area: Josh dropped them in a controlled setting, kept his equipment from damaging the septic system, and some of the extra wood was neatly stacked. A repeat customer says Josh has cleared trees for them twice, with the work done exactly as they wanted and the grass coming in well. In a 2025 review, a customer said Josh removed 10 trees with no issues with their power lines and left the job site clean. In a 2023 review, a customer who found him through Angi said a job that began as the removal of 2 large oak trees grew to include a few other large trees and some smaller ones, all completed the same day. A 2021 reviewer wrote that the crew ran the chipper only as needed rather than throughout the job, out of consideration for the neighbors. In a 2020 review, a customer described Josh removing trees hanging over the roof and, on a second visit, spreading wood chips over part of the back yard. Another 2020 review describes removing a tree with power lines passing through.
